15 weeks to go!

We are 25 weeks this week! According to the trusty babycenter website, she should be about 1 1/2lbs, the size of a rutabaga, even though I think she must be a little more than that. :)

Ava Rose is becoming more active everyday. Recently she has found her way into the right side of my ribs. Luckily she hasn't been kicking them too hard. And travel isn't quite as easy as it has been in the past- Half hour is about all i can do in the car before I have to get out and stretch!

I had a Dr. appointment a coulple of weeks ago. Everything was great. She has a wonderful heart rate, and Dr. Gebhart said my belly is looking nice and big! I go in on Nov. 2nd for another appointment and they will do the glucose test. I have to remember not to eat fruit loops or anything else with sugar! At the last appointment I had fruitloops and OJ so my sugar count was a little on the high side!

Carpet for Ava's room should go down with in the next week! YAY! And her dresser should get painted withing the next couple of weeks. I am almost through with everything! Still having to keep myself away from the clothing section at the stores--her closet is full already :)! Sweet baby might be a little spoiled!

Daddy Felt the Kicks!

Ava gave her daddy a great surprise last night! She kicked his hand several times! Brian grinned from ear to ear and kept saying "THATS COOL". Now the pregnancy is becoming even more special to him. I am so glad he finally got to feel her!

Tuesday she had the hickups for the first time that I could feel! She made my belly bounce for about 5 minutes. It was the cutest thing!

As for me, I had my 22week checkup today. Ava's heart rate was 148bpm. Dr. Gebhart said that my belly is measuring perfectly along with my weight. And a lesson learned is to not eat fruitloops and drink orangejuice right before a visit... they thought there was a problem with my blood sugar, but it was just breakfast :)
My next Appt is scheduled for Nov. 2nd. & Hopefully we will have our 4D sonogram shortly after that appt.
