Half Way There!!!

Oh my goodness! Half way! I am so excited. This pregnancy is going by so fast. Ava's kicks are getting a little stronger everyday. We figured out that she doesn't like anything to sit on her mommy's tummy, wether it be daddy's hand or clothing. Let Brian rest his hand on my belly and she will go to kicking, unfortunately he still can't feel them. Hopefully he will be able to in the next week or so. The sign is what daddy picked out for her door! It's so true! :)

We took a trip to the beach this past weekend. It is our last trip until Ava gets here. The water was a little rough so I only got in to take a few pictures. Not only did we do a little shopping, Brian got to go fishing off of the new pier. Then went to Fort Morgan-through a little history in on the trip since Brian really likes that kind of stuff! What a nice way to relax for a few days

Work on Ava's room is coming along now. Daddy bought her a pink shelf. He used the hammer that he bought her on the trip to put it together. He picked out the cute Princess sign to put on the top of it. To go in the shelf, he bought her her first JohnDeer Tractor book! She is going to be so Spoiled!

18weeks

Ok so I am a week late with this post. We went Tues to have a Level 2 Anatomy Scan. Everything was perfect. Dr. Bofill found every vital organ and they all measured out right. She weighed 8oz./ 1/2pound! So far she doesn't like having her picture taken. While we were trying to print out pictures, Ava Rose kept puckering her lips. It was adorable but didn't give us a great profile pic of her. As soon as we stopped printing pictures she relaxed those little lips and sat pretty for us. Brian did throw a little fit during the sonogram, his little princess wouldn't close her legs. He kept telling me that we had to work on that, she needs to keep them shut. :) I'll try to scan the pics and post one soon.

Today we went to start our baby registry at BabiesRUs and Target. Brian was in charge of the scanner-and yes he tried to scan everything! As workers walked by he told them we didn't need help because he had the Scan Gun.I think everyone in the store was getting a good laugh. What a proud Daddy!

Everything is starting to seem more and more real to us.I can't believe we have almost made it halfway through this journey! So much to do before she gets here!
